Had a great time with my artist @zionaliofficial at @9thdistrictstaterepyolondam fundraiser at @obriensriverwalkchicago Yolonda, now serving the 9th District, is a former union organizer and CNA who’s fighting for better healthcare, housing, public safety, and mental health resources in Springfield.

It’s so important, especially for youth, to know who’s making decisions in your name. Leaders like Yolonda come from the community and reflect the issues we care about. Show up, ask questions, and stay tapped in. Our voices matter more than ever.
