Yesterday I posted a story asking for contacts for Samyod dog in mumbai , I am receiving so many msgs from kind , considerate people with good heart ! That made me think if we have so much power to connect to each other and help then it has never been easier to extend help for those who truly need it !!!

It’s only been a few hours since I landed in London, and I know mom won’t sleep tonight.

She’s already asking, “Kab wapas aa rahi ho?”
Which is funny, because I live in Mumbai and she lives in Khajuraho .
But suddenly… this distance feels different. It feels longer — to her, and to me too.

To everyone who’s made the UK home — especially all the Indian families here —
I don’t know how you do it. Leaving behind familiarity, food, festivals, family.
My full respect to you.
I hope you’ve found warmth here…
Because in just one day, I’ve already felt it from the kind Indians I met. It mattered more than I expected.

This is my first time in London. I want to see it like you see it.
Show me the places that feel like comfort. Tell me where you go when you miss home.
And maybe… if the universe conspires, I’d love to come back during Christmas too and attend family dinners like they show in the movies .

For now, I’m just soaking it all in — with equal parts wonder… and a little bit of homesickness.
