I started a small business for many reasons but starting one during one of the toughest moments of my life was a great motivation.
I’m grateful for the journey of building @dijapepper , my suya pepper (yaji) and Kilishi (all natural beef jerky) business, which started during the pandemic in 2020. Despite initial optimism, I faced numerous challenges such as rejected grants and investments like many small businesses. However, with the unwavering support and encouragement of loved ones, I persevered and rebooted in October 2024. Today, I’m thrilled to have partnered with @suyahutbristol in the UK, and in Nigeria creating jobs for 12 talented older women aged 51-60 (who work from the comfort of their homes (we don’t age discriminate) and our younger genz team members @gloryesikemuwe and @sir_dammmy . It’s been a tough but rewarding ride. I invite you to join us on this journey, support our business, and help keep the cycle of growth and opportunity flowing #womeninbusiness

Today is #worldmusicday2025
