When my vocal students ask me why we spend so much time on breathing exercises & techniques, this is one of the videos I show them to prove my point! 🎤👊🏽 ⬆️⬆️⬆️ 👊🏽🎤

@bloodlinestexas and myself after singing with them at none other than Chain Reaction in SoCal. Good dudes.

Who'd come see them open for me if I were to play a show there? Just IF I were too.....

Happy Birthday to the best mom, wife, friend, artist, and woman I'll ever know @maudicarlile ❤️ Thank you for breathing. Here's to another 28 years xo

( Bad mother's dont get a welcome home like this every time they're gone for 5+ hours at work ) The hardest job in the world is being a GOOD mother 🕊

Our good friend @austincarlile made it out to this parade of praise we threw for Jesus last night 🤍

We want to thank him for taking care of us with some tour supplies on this run with @confessionsofatraitor & @lightworkerband

Keep your eyes peeled for his new & upcoming projects.

Not a perfect photo, not a perfect family, not a perfect world, but MY perfect world, in one photo.

-My wife behind the camera
-In the studio (yes I said it)
-Definition of love in my arms.

The difference in being a Dad and a GOOD DAD is vastly different. It takes 20 seconds to become a dad. (Yes I said that too)

To be a GOOD DAD it takes a lifetime of teaching them, learning from them, raising them, spoiling them, not spoiling them, growing together, patience, rules, boundaries, grace, mercy, understanding, leading by example, and endless more things.

Fathers, you have a big responsibility. So show up. Mess up. Show up. Make mistakes. Show up again, over and over and over... Show up 🙏

You are NOT YOUR Dad.
You are THEIR Dad.

Here's to the real ones only, Happy Father's Day 💪🏽

Forget the @revolvermag "Vocalist of the Year" award! The STORMTROOPERS made my night! #maythe4thbewithyou

( I was actually humbled and honored to win and then receive the award, much less from 3 members of the band @officialqueenmusic that night! Made my dad jealous.)

BUT I couldn't have won "Vocalist of the Year" without my team behind me. Every good quarterback needs a strong offensive line to support them, or they can't play to the best of their ability.

The records we made weren't just me, but teamwork. The songs created together, besides a few, were MY story, MY life, and MY heart. And ill always write from the heart and never say i did it alone. That award was OURS. Thank you to all our fans, past, present. And now.... future.... and the future is coming 🔥 🙏 #thankful #workhard #thebestisyettocome 💯

Dingo I haven't been able to put into words how I feel about your passing. You were a friend to everyone who knew you. Who you let closest in was different. Whenever Tal, Kells, Pete, Shecks, etc. Anyone I was hanging out with you showed up and they acted like you were the life of the party. You simply exhaled life itself. I wasn't as close to you as I'd like to be, but every time we hung out you'd hug me and ask me the most important things with sincerity;

- "How's the health mate.... really?"

- And "what are you gonna do about music?! *then puts his hands on my chest* music needs you mate! And I know you need it too!"

-That "you have babies!!!! You have a wife! OMG!!!!"

- Then one of the last things you said to me "IM SO PROUD OF YOU MATE. You're a warrior, don't lose that. I don't know anyone who could feel how you feel everyday but still keep going, I'm proud of you, and so happy for you."

Dingo, thank you. You introduced me to so many people I still love and talk to when I can today. But most of all I'M proud of you MATE!

And I'll miss you. We all will, we all do... my heart goes out to all my friends who were the closest closest to him.

Everyone who knew you had a different relationship with you, but you were alwahs the same Dingo. You didn't put on different masks around different people. That stuck with me. Just like "music needs you mate, and I know you need it too!" 🙏🕶🕊

The underbelly of living with Marfan Syndrome. I often don't post vulnerable things like this anymore because so much of my daily life is hindered by it, yet I push through.

Only I can choose to let this illness consume me mentally, thus defining myself by it. Or I can tell it standing tall: "I'm not stuck with you, you're stuck with me."

We aren't defined by our illnesses, mental or physical.

Don't let whatever you're going through this week, this year, take root in your mind and OWN YOU... YOU OWN IT.

There may be no cure for what I have, but it's made me an animal, a fighter, and not a quitter. My condition is to thank for those character traits. I wouldn't give it away for a "normal life," for the world. I count my battles, my war, my pain, my hurt, as a blessing.

Watch your character grow, as you persevere through what seems to be what will end you. You're not going to let it. This is YOUR war, this is YOUR fight.

Our conditions may be the end of us physically someday, but don't allow that to affect you mentally in the time being, you have a life to LIVE. Same as a mental condition, dont let it affect you physically, I know they go hand in hand, I know it hurts, I know it seems impossible, but I also know you can fight through it.

If you think no one beleives in you, or you're the only one experiencing this, you're wrong. I'm right here with you.
