Our next stop on @bdylanhollis’s Baking Across America, was Omaha, Nebraska— by far one of my favorite cities we visited for the book last summer. Omaha was the backdrop for Kool-Aid Pie and Butter Brickle, two desserts I have lovingly marked in the book to make again with my girls because they are *so good*. I am selling prints of the first and last images of Dylan’s Kool-aid Pie, photographed on The Riverfront in Omaha— with @alexandermrigby standing by to fluff bracelets and wildflowers, and @kaileystalder just outside of frame, wielding a big knife and always ready to serve up another slice. From now through the end of August, I will donate all proceeds from the pie + flower prints to @wckitchen, who is providing vital support for our fellow Texans as they rebuild after the disastrous and heartbreaking floods last weekend.
