Dreams do come true. My #rescuehorse Belle and I are @cowgirlmagazine covergirls! This was truly my favorite shoot of all time. @abbylinne captured me and my girl in the most special way, I'll cherish these photos forever with my heart horse! I've been a reader and fan of @cowgirlmagazine for such a long time, what an honor it is to be their Jan cover girl' more soon! Is is #2024 yet?

Some bts of our trip to Leon this week. Ryan cleary of @mightycreatureco joined to document the making our of leathers, our bags and our debut boot collaboration, can’t wait to see the trip through his talented eyes!

The world is mind-blowingly scary right now. Each day, feels like it just keeps getting worse, with no end in sight.

During times like this, I try to hold tight to what Mister Rogers told us: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers.’”
So I do. I look for the helpers. And right now, one of my biggest helpers is @amypoehler @goodhangwithamy podcast.
Amy Poehler has always been my comedy hero.

But more than that, she’s a helper—one of those rare souls who makes you feel less alone just by being herself. Her humor, her wisdom, her lifelong mission of lifting up other women… it’s been balm for my soul these past few weeks.
Laughing with Amy (and her genius guests) reminds me that even in hard times, there’s light. There are women cheering for other women. There are stories that heal us. There is always a way back to joy.

So thank you, Amy. For being my helper, even from afar.
And to anyone else going through a tough season—find your joy hits. Take a big ol' hit off of whatever your "joy bong" looks like.

They don’t fix everything but they sure do help to carry the load.
