🇺🇸 FINALLY AMERICAN!!!! 🇺🇸 I’ve recently become an American citizen, and I couldn’t be happier. This is a moment I’ve waited for, dreamed about, and worked so hard to reach. I’m deeply grateful to the United States for the community I’ve built here and the opportunities this country gave me to grow and succeed.

But while I celebrate this milestone, I can’t ignore the reality that so many of our brothers and sisters are still living in fear. Families are being torn apart, people dragged from their homes, separated from their children, and ripped from the lives they’ve built.

I was once undocumented too. I overstayed my visa and I know what it feels like to live in fear, to feel like you don’t belong. But I’m here to tell you: don’t give up. The path isn’t easy, but it is possible. There are ways forward. There is hope. And you are not alone.

Now that I’ve taken this oath, I plan to use every right that come with it and participate in the democracy. I will vote. I will speak up. And I will fight for the rights of immigrants, because our voices and our stories matter.

This is not just a personal victory. It’s a commitment to stand with those still in the fight for a better world, and to never forget where I came from. ❤️🤍💙
