We played to this point in our villages with our peers … we made toys out of everything. Our imagination and creativity remained unmatched as we made toys out of anything and everything we laid our hands on. Hence as adults now, you will have to work over time to break us. Allow kids to play, remove them a bit from their phones, let them walk as often as possible, let them visit their families in the townships and villages. Failure to then you limit and reduces their problem solving skills & they will have to pay a huge price when they are adults. U. Train 🚂

Nothing will ever convince me otherwise that artists must at all material times look for a different audience when seeking sustainability, impact, & wealth. Nna ngwana batho ke nyaka audience that seeks solutions and is willing to pay for such, an audience that want us to collectively build, & An audience seeking collaborations. You either look for a green room/ holding room that will imprison your dreams in there indefinitely or make yourself available for collaborations & expand your network. Your social currency ought to sustain you beyond your relevance. U. 🚂 So always calm yourself down from the appreciation you get from the audience, afford yourself some silence in the absence of friends, public, secured gig, funds in the bank account and have a truthful conversation with self. Don’t be successful in public and poor in your own home. Get your priorities right. Build a castle warm enough for generations that will outlive you. U. 🚂
