In 2018 Daniella’s Digest was created as a way for me to share my advocacy for animal activism in a digestible and meme-style way. In 2022 it was revised and rebranded into more of a lifestyle page, capturing aesthetic bits and pieces that aligned with living a conscious lifestyle. As the audience and engagement grew we were approached by a partner who offered an opportunity to create a web-based meal planning (and more) app that essentially felt like having your healthy big sis to turn to anytime you needed a little wellness inspiration.

Our lovely partners will be winding down their business and therefore we will be pivoting away from the web-based app we were able to offer.

Life is constantly opening and closing doors FOR US, and therefore you know your girl is looking at this through the lens of “what’s next!”.

For now, this means nothing major will shift in the near term, you will still have access to your app for several months to come, so check in and get cooking :)

You may notice slightly less emails, or app blog updates, but rest assured my small but mighty team (Zoe, Emily and I) are looking at ways to continue to get you the digestible wellness content we love to share.

The @daniellasdigest page will continue to focus on balance, and judgment-free intuitive living, and the little things that support your mental and physical health in a way that feels doable, not overwhelming. We’re just here to share simple, digestible tools to help you feel your best, whatever that looks like for you.

No hard sell, no cheesy gimmick. We’re not pushing perfection or labels. You don’t need to be vegan or follow any set routine. You just have to be a human trying to feel good, and do good in the most authentic and organic way to you.

Expect bite-sized recipes, gentle rituals, clean swaps, and the kind of reminders we all need from time to time. 💛

We’re just here to share what’s helped us, in case it helps you too.

It’s time to get hooked on this new reality- adventure series, Back to the Frontier!! It follows three families as they ditch modern life to survive like it’s the 1880s, and after meeting one of the families irl and asking the questions we’re probably all wondering, like, “literally no electricity?” or “how was it with no phones for 2 months?” and a more personal question, like “did they give you guys any olive oil to cook with?” - the answer was no…. 🤯

Biggest takeaway from the conversation was that they kind of miss it. This gives quality time, and living a slow lifestyle a whole new meaning.

before we got the @meetquilt system, we were sleeping in a frigid room. We had to keep the temp of the house low to cool the kids rooms properly, but that meant our room was colder than we’d like. We got Quilt because it lets us control the room’s temperature on our terms, and now everyone has their perfect (but different) sleep temps! It’s also better for the planet than traditional heating and cooling systems, saves you 💰, and gives me peace of mind that Andrew and I can sleep comfortably now! So glad they are now in LA and coming soon to so many more cities - check it out!
