This is a really, really tough one. I have always told anyone that would listen that you were my hero, and I promise that’ll never change. I’m so lucky to have had 20 years with you, although I really hoped for more. Nothing made me happier than making you laugh because you were the funniest person I’ll ever know. I hope the pints of Guinness up there are pristine, you’ve earned one or five. Say hi to Nanny for me. I love you Granddad, rest easy ❤️ 1951-2025.

Ruby And The Well Season 4 is now out! All episodes streaming on the @byutv app, and premiering tomorrow on Family Channel in Canada!

Every time I’ve come back to this show, I’ve thought that it wouldn’t be possible to have more fun than I had the prior season. And every time, I am wrong. There aren’t too many things that one person can hold incredibly near and dear to their heart, but this season of television - the product itself, the memories, the on and off-set shenanigans - will always be one of those things.

Shooting from September to December in Ontario means a lot of cold days. I cannot stress enough how resilient and hard-working this crew was, always with a smile no matter how cold it got. The spirit and quality behind this crew is nothing short of blockbuster, and I am absolutely confident in saying that we had the best team in television. Seasoned vets who lead us with confidence and wisdom; fresh faces who worked passionately around the clock to make our show better. I know I’m gushing, but trust me when I say they deserve every bit of it and more.

There’s someone else who I feel deserves recognition as well. It’s not easy to move across the world alone, knowing nobody at your destination. It’s also not easy to join a show in its fourth season and third year of filming, play a pivotal role in said season, and in less than three weeks become an integral part of a production. @mattlenehan7 did it all, and he absolutely killed it. But beyond acting, I gained a life long Irish brother when Matt landed in Toronto, for which I couldn’t be more grateful. Sláinte brother ❤️🇮🇪

Hope you all enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed making it!

Happy birthday Caleb 🤍🕊️ #cr13legacyplunge

Nice to do a plunge in a place that always reminds me of Caleb. One thanksgiving when we were younger, his family joined in on our tradition, and it was a beautiful thanksgiving weekend. I see his spirit in every sunrise and sunset here.

Remember to find any body of water you’ve got and film yourself jumping in using #cr13legacyplunge ! The more awareness we raise, the more people can be helped by Caleb’s legacy!

Today I’d like to talk to you guys about my friend, Caleb Reimer. Caleb and I met playing hockey together when we were 8 or 9 years old, and were best friends for a couple years while playing on the same teams together. As we grew up and went to different schools and down different paths, we weren’t able to stay in touch as much as before, but I still considered him a long time friend and on multiple occasions he was there for me when I needed help or advice. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2021, Caleb was involved in a car crash that took not only his own life, but also the lives of two other boys with whom I grew up playing hockey.

This October 9th would’ve been Caleb’s 19th birthday, and his family has decided that they’d like to do something to honour his memory. So we’ve come up with the #cr13legacyplunge . On October 9th, whether it’s a pool, a river, a lake, or an ocean, we’re asking anyone willing to take a video of themselves jumping into the water and post it using #cr13legacyplunge in order to raise awareness of Caleb’s story and memory.

Caleb was an elite level hockey player, and at only 16 years old had secured a spot on the roster of the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings, a feat which “impressive” doesn’t even begin to describe. The Reimers feel that the best way to honour his memory would be to give young people opportunities in sports that they otherwise would not have had, allowing them to pursue life with the same passion that Caleb did. All donations to the CR Legacy Project will go towards this goal of honouring Caleb’s memory and building his legacy by giving youth these special opportunities.

If this cause resonates with you, I really encourage you to share it with your friends and family! The more people that know about Caleb, the more good his legacy can do for the world, which is without a doubt exactly what he’d want.
