It’s impossible to put into words how heartbroken I feel.
In my second game back, against Albania, unfortunately i’ve torn my ACL again.

16 months after the first injury, I finally made my comeback, only to now find myself right back where I started.
The past year and a half of my life has been consumed by my rehab. Every ounce of energy, every hour spent in the gym, on the pitch, in ice baths – all of it just to get back here. To feel like I was finally returning to my best, only to be hit with this… It’s hard to even wrap my head around.

I’m determined to not let this define me, but it’s tough to ignore the pain of it all.
I’ve done it once before, I can do it again. But still, it doesn’t make this moment any easier. I just want to do what I love, play football for my club and country.
I need some time to process everything, to heal, and to come back stronger than ever.
This journey is far from over – I just need to keep believing that.
Thank you all for the constant support. I won’t let this break me. I’ll be back. 💔

today officially marks 1 year since i tore my ACL. This past year has been a long and challenging journey, filled with countless hours of rehab in the gym and moments where I didn’t think i could do it anymore.

Sleepless nights, constant pain and physiotherapy became my new norm and it’s something i really struggled to get used to, especially watching the team play without me.
There’s been days and months when the progress felt slow, but now I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m counting down the days until i’m back doing what I love.
This is one of the hardest things i’ve gone through- mentally and physically but i’m working hard every day to make my comeback.
i’m grateful for every person i’ve had by my side who are helping me get through this injury.
