It sure was fun dipping my toe back into the world of fancy New York premieres again. The fans of the Dexter world are next level. Thanks for welcoming me into the universe.
I hope we will have a love hate relationship very soon.😬 What a treat also to share space with this great group of actors, writers, producers and crew. They run a TOP notch production and create an environment for everyone to have the chance to excel at their craft.
And wow. @paramountplus and @sho_dexter knows how to throw a party and promote a show.

That’s my long time manager Steve and the fine people who purchased the Dexter premiere package that @dastmalchian and I auctioned off @bigslickkc this year. Thank you @sho_dexter for donating that opportunity for someone to bid on.
And then of course you all know my lady friend Lindsay. She looked stunning. @tianaiello styled us and @tivolkc let Lindsay BORROW I said BORROW some very nice jewelry.
I hope you all will tune into #dexterresurrection on the 11th.

It’s amazing that I got to work with the great Peter Dinklage on #dexterresurrection this spring and now my former co-worker @jessetyler gets to work with him this summer in The Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night at the newly renovated Delacorte Theater in Central Park! That’s in NEW YORK City’s Central Park,btw. I can’t WAIT!

ER was the first show I got to be on that when I walked onto the stage, as a fan, I felt like I knew where everything was. My scene was the final part of a very long continuous shot that ER was famous for. If you’re an actor, you know what the stress of that is. Maura Tierney and @mingna_wen were my wonderful scene partners and the great @pkcbarclay was the director who made me feel comfortable and confident enough to get my lines out and deliver a decent performance. #memorylane

Happy Father’s Day to all the pops in the world. This is a picture of mine on Friday August 27th 2010. 2 days before I’d be fortunate enough to win a trophy for a job that I would have never gotten without his unwavering support. We were on our way to an Emmy Party here. Someplace very much out of his comfort zone, but my dad never met a stranger and that night was no different. I got such a kick out of watching him talk to people over hors d’oeuvres and then quietly asking me, ‘now Eric, were they famous?’ Or ‘what’s madman about? The guy I was just talking to said he created it.’ Yep MadMEN. He sure did.
Or ‘Eric, what do I know that guy I was just in the bathroom with from? That’s Bryan Cranston.’ Oh ya he was on Malcom in the Middle with you.’

So cheers to all you dads out there for being the steady, pen carrying rock of support for your kids no matter where their dreams take them.
I miss my dad and think about him everyday, like any of you that have lost yours do too, I’m sure.
But recalling memories of him and sharing stories about him with you all, makes me feel like he’s still here and telling me that ‘ he just ate a piece of RAW tuna with that guy over there.’ You mean John Goodman? That’s John Goodman, dad.
