So today marks the 9 year anniversary of my infamous “Popeyes” skit … this would Forsure be the VIDEO that changed my life and introduced me to what being VIRAL, millions of views over night was … lord knows I didn’t know what I was doing 😂🤦🏾‍♀️ .. I had literally got off work the night before from working a double as a server, went home and spent all night (literally) getting ready, so I could film before my hater EX had returned home the next day. By the time I was done doing my hair and make up, which was new to me at the time, it was 7am and I only had 3 hrs to film in the drive thru before Popeyes opened . Lol I was extremely sleepy which made me come off a lil ruder than normal , which I guess made this more of a classic 😂. I remember posting this on instagram , avoiding facebook because I didn’t wanna “embrass” my mom lol …. Until I woke up to millions of views on face book within like 48 hrs . 9 years later, I’m so happy I took that leap of faith despite not feeling funny or having support at the time. I hope this encourages someone out there to just DO IT ! Get out of your fucking HEAD, AND JUST DO IT!! You never know where it may lead you. Special shoutout & honorary thanks to my best @comptonsveryownnn for being the voice over 😂 AND to my internet/hair auntie @boldholdlaceproducts for seeing something special in me from day one and being the first person to ever gift me a wig, which is what I wore in this video. I felt like that BITCH in this custom color grey 🤌🏾😍🔥🔥🔥
