Jennifer Love Hewitt is about to make her cinematic comeback, as the inordinately traumatized Julie James in a reboot of ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ — the franchise that launched her movie career in 1997, when she was 18. The sexism she​ faced early in her career almost kept her from returning to the big screen. “All of my friends had to talk me into it,” she says. “Literally up until the last night before shooting, they were like, ‘You know you’re going tomorrow, right?’” On what made her so anxious, she answers matter-of-factly: “What people were going to say about how much older I would seem than when I was 18.
