It’s a good day to remind you that women are still dying during childbirth from postpartum hemorrhage. But the kicker is, #PPH is preventable.

Do you know how many women we lose to PPH every year (in Kenya alone) 5,000+ . Does that number shock you? Upset you? Good! Because I honestly feel we’re not yet angry enough to demand better for our mothers.

Childbirth should not be a death sentence. Save a mother, save a generation.

I had the honor of joining the phenomenal women of @riverofgodchurchkenya , for the Refresh conference. Listening to different women share stories on how they’ve faced giants in their lives was the uplift I needed.

This is for the one who’s feeling like they’ve been in one season after another of delay. The one who looks around and sees others moving forward, achieving their dreams almost effortlessly.

I want to remind you that even in the wait, God is moving. You’re delayed, not denied. Understand that God’s timing is impeccable. His works are intentional.

It’s ok to cry, brokenness is a valid expression of the waiting room. Just remember that God is working. Remember that he hasn’t forgotten you. He did not lie to you. All of God’s promises are yes, and Amen in Christ.

Beloved, you’re not here by mistake; no. Your steps are ordered and everything will make sense in hindsight.
May God preserve you. May he give you the strength to keep your faith. Your moment is coming. It may not be today, maybe not tomorrow. Oh but it’s coming. As sure as the dawn, it’s coming 🤎
