A bit of a detour here in terms of theme but I wanted to mix it up as I’ve been feeling pretty burnt out on the animations recently. Whilst I love to animate I sometimes find it hard to get out of the trap of doing what’s easiest, and it can be scary to experiment with new styles or subjects. I’m working on starting a YouTube soon so hopefully this will change in time, but in the short term making comics and artwork like this has been refreshing too :) If there’s anyone else out there dealing with burnout, I highly encourage you to take a break (if possible), spend more time with friends and family and give yourself space to breathe. The work will be there when you’re ready. Also go watch Kiki’s Delivery Service as it does a much better job than me at explaining burnout!
