It feels like we’re finally at the starting line! When I first dreamed up UMAMI SAUCE, I had no idea how tough it would be to make it available for everyone. But my husband and I have been working around the clock to get this sauce into as many hands as possible. In order to realize our dream, my life is now 1000000% UMAMI SAUCE. We’ve been diving into new industries, going to international food shows, and chasing every opportunity. Thanks to the support of so many people, Whole Foods Market will be our first retailer in the US! During my tough postpartum period, it was you, Kimonoko, who showed me that I wasn’t alone. Your support helped me so much, and now I want to be a source of hope for others around the world. Because of you, we can continue our UMAMI Journey. Thank you for always being there for us. I went to see where the very first Umami Sauce is born, joining its initial production. It was an emotional experience, akin to witnessing a child's birth, finally standing at the starting line. Although I havn't yet edited the video, I just want to share this joy with you Kimonoko. Despite Kimonoko worldwide using my recipes, obtaining Japanese ingredients for making Japanese cuisine abroad remains challenging. In response to the complexity of Japanese cuisine, I came up with the idea of a sauce that can be diluted with water to make many Japanese dishes. Moreover, one that accommodates various dietary restrictions. Hence, I created the 'Umami Sauce' to cater to diverse dietary needs, inspired by input from my kimonokos. My goal is to make a world EVERYONE can enjoy japanese food. After two years, the Vegan, Gluten-free, Non-alcoholic, Additive-free Kimono Mom Original Umami Sauce is finally complete. With this sauce, anyone anywhere in the world can easily make Japanese cuisine. Japanese food can spread even further across the globe. Despite different races, cultures, and religions, we can all gather around one table. I want to share this sauce with everyone asap, but first, on August 23rd-29th, we will launch it in my home, Japan. With me and Moto will be there, I'd be thrilled if people in Japan could come and say hello to us. For those overseas, our team is working hard to make it accessible to you too, so please wait a little longer! (This is an entirely new world for me, and I'm keenly aware of the challenges of exporting food overseas!
