It is with great sadness that I share that my mother, Constance Moorer, transitioned this past week. Diagnosed with cancer in 2022 she fought through every moment of surgery, chemo, and radiation with the hopes of one day being cancer-free.

My mom woke up every day with the greatest attitude and with her heart full of a song for the Lord. Anyone who came into contact with her felt her light and her beautiful energy. That smile. A true joy.

This is, by far, the most difficult part of my journey and all I can hold on to right now is gratitude. My mother’s mother passed when my mother was 10 and I was blessed to have my mom for 54 years of my life. I am grateful to have had all that time with someone so incredibly special.

Words cannot express how heavy my heart sits but I rest in the knowingness that she is now free, out of pain and with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please continue to pray for me 🙏🏽 LOVE

What an amazing spirit Malcolm Jamal Warner is. I say is because his spirit lives on.

In a world that often feels heavy and uncertain, there are those rare people that shine — inspiring everyone around them. He was one of those extraordinary individuals: a friend whose heart radiated warmth and kindness.

With a beautiful smile and a heart of gold, Malcolm effortlessly lifted spirits and reminded us all of the power of genuine connection. Whether it was through words of encouragement in his poetry or simply staying in touch, he made us all feel valued.

Malcolm’s spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories. Every selfless act he performed is a testament to his character—a true embodiment of love and compassion. As we navigate life without his physical presence, we carry forward his legacy of kindness by uplifting one another just as he did so effortlessly. Though the world may seem dimmer without him here, we find solace in knowing that his spirit continues to inspire us.

I thank him for being an amazing friend; his heart of gold will never be forgotten.
