무작정 형에게 곡을 하나 써줄 수 있냐고 물어봤었던 작년, 녹음하기 전에도, 다 하고 나서도, 아직도 무슨 마음으로 이런 가사와 곡을 써 내려갔는지는 물어보지 않았다. 많은 것들을 포괄하며 버티고, 지내온 시간들에 대한 사랑이 담긴 이야기일까 이 노래를 듣는 많은 사람들도 이 이야기 속으로 끌고 들어가야겠다는 생각을 하며 불렀다 느낌이 색다르다 그가 빚어냈던 수많은 우리의 곡들과 나에게 부르게끔 한 곡들 중 아마도 가장 애착이 가는 곡이 아닐까 싶다. 데모 받고 나서도 얼른 잘 불러내고 싶었다. 내가 불러놓고도 들을 때마다 화자가 바라보는 시점이 다르게 느껴지는 신기한 곡이다. 슬프다. 어딘가 가슴속이 미어진다. 아, 이번에 미국에 있을 때 공연 끝나고 다음 날 하루 쉬는 날 재녹음하겠다고 형의 쉬는 날 하루를 뺏었다. 조금은 무겁게 다가오는 이야기라 이대로 내보내기엔 너무 아쉬워서 감정 더 잘 담아내고 싶어서. 일 년 내내 나만 몰래 들었는데 세상에 나온다고 생각하니 뭔가 아쉬운? 이상한 느낌도 든다. 낯간지러워서 제대로 고맙다는 말을 못 했다 그치만 진심으로 고맙습니다 형 @gnabnahc #Goodbye #SKZ_RECORD
