To celebrate the 10th anniversary of @lollapaloozade , I was asked to create 40 huge illustrations that were hung around the Olympia Stadium Berlin.

The pictures show Lollapalooza Berlin over the last 10 years. The different banners show the different locations where Lolla Berlin took place: Flughafen Tempelhof, Treptower Park, Rennbahn Hoppegarten and finally the Olympiapark and the Olympiastadion.

☺️Easter eggs are scattered all over the banners. They are references to artists who have performed at @lollapaloozade the past decade. I’ll post them all in my story and in my highlights! 🥹

The whole scenery shows a little ghost festival. It starts in the morning (arrival in pink) and ends with a big concert and fireworks at night (dark banners) 🩷💛🧡💜

I‘ll post more pictures over the next few days and I will probably never shut up about this 🙂‍↕️

In a large comic strip circling the Olympiastadion, the curation of Lollapalooza Berlin, illustrated by Valérie Minelli, playfully traced the many relocations the festival experienced in its early years. Starting on the tarmac of the former Tempelhof Airport, passing through the scenic Treptower Park and the Hoppegarten racecourse, the little ghost characters encounter all kinds of companions before finally arriving at today’s location, the historic Olvmpiastadion and Olympiapark.
