Super important reminder:

I think what is worse than the fake accounts is when people who have been misled by them believe they’re real, and pass judgement on me for it. I’ve seen some things said about me and my friends because of what a fake account has said using our names and faces. All I can do is ask you all again to be wary.

There is an account going around now spreading a photoshopped drivers license as “proof” and verification. The address isn’t real, and the information is inaccurate.

Keep in mind:

- I won’t reach out to you privately. I know that isn’t what people want to hear, but it’s genuinely inappropriate, and a safety risk. It isn’t going to happen. I do this because I care about you all.

- I won’t ever ask you for money. Bitcoin, gift cards, etc. Not going to happen. If anyone with my name does, don’t give it to them.

- My merchandise and concert tickets are listed and available on my official websites, and venue websites only.

- I don’t host private meet and greets, and I don’t handle sales or any purchases through any email addresses.

- This is my only Instagram account. It is verified, and I will not create fan pages/chat pages.

- I am not going to reach out to anyone romantically, it just isn’t going to happen. I have a boyfriend, and am not taking “applications” from the online space.

If anyone has been harassed by these accounts, I apologize. There’s very little I can do due to the sheer quantity, and anonymity behind them. The best course of action is awareness. Please immediately block the accounts when you come across them.

Happy Bagpipe Appreciation day to all of you lovely people out there who make it possible for me to pursue my dreams!

Since the dawn of me finding the pipes, I knew that I wanted to be a part of de-stigmatizing them. Bringing them into a modern age, and showing people how amazing they truly can be! My favorite comment that I get is “I thought I hated bagpipes until today.”

I’m not claiming to be the best, or the only person modernizing the instrument. That’s far from the case. I’m just SO grateful that I’ve been able to show this instrument to hundreds of millions of people through social media over the past 5 years.

Thank you for being here and appreciating this instrument with me!

Ozzy Osbourne passed away today. And I just can’t believe it. During my lifetime we have lost so many legacies, but this one leaves a weird void in the air for me.

Ozzy did so much for music, I don’t have to tell you that, but I can tell you how he inspired one little piper to completely transform her life.

When I was a young piper, I started a rock band in my high school. I had seen other amazing bands play covers of rock songs on the pipes before, but I wanted to do something new that I hadn’t seen yet. So I took a song that I personally loved, Crazy Train, and arranged it with my band. I’ve been playing Crazy Train on bagpipes for almost 15 years now, and if you’ve ever seen my show, you’ve heard it.

I always tell people that it was my “gateway song” into playing rock and metal on the pipes. And my how far that has taken me.

If Ozzy Osbourne can inspire a traditional, competitive, 15 year old bagpiper to step outside of the box and follow her dreams of becoming a rockstar, I can only imagine who else has him to thank for helping to push them toward their own dreams.

I hope that whatever happens after we die, Ozzy and Randy are able to understand the magnitude with which their talents changed the world.

The only comfort of losing an artist is that their impact and their work will continue to ripple through all of time.
