we open ‘evita’ on the west end tonight, and i would be remiss if i didn’t leave a little note up here explaining just how special this evening is to so many of us.

when you’re working on something of this scale, it becomes a true test of chemistry and trust and love between a huge group of people spanning across several different skill sets. everyone onstage (and off) at the palladium tonight has been working their asses off on this show — some of them for years — to bring it to you in its best form. as someone who joined this journey back in february, having rehearsed since april, and now 17 performances in, i can honestly say that the sheer amount of talent in the building each day is enough to blow the roof off. and we do. eight times a week.

from @jamielloyd’s daily brilliance and his team at @jamielloydco, to the most inventive movement born from the mind of the incomparable @fabianaloise, led by an orchestra conducted by none other than @alanwilliamsmd… we couldn’t be in better hands. i couldn’t be luckier.

but at the core of this process is a cast of the most incredible individuals i have ever come across. triple threats in every sense of the word. our company keeps its arms open and ready to accept whatever the day brings. our swings keep the show running with an ease that only they can pull off. it’s wildly inspiring to witness on a day-to-day basis.

i have such a deep love for everyone who has touched this production, and i cannot wait to bring it to you at the palladium tonight as we open for the masses. i never thought i would get to live my dream this way. surrounded by the most amazing people. i feel so held.

thank you jamie, fabian, amy, paris, alan, rupert, cory, matt, jiles, sutra, rachel, matron, katey, sarah, lily, jo, david, ruby, dom, carol, claire, everyone on our filming teams, every single person who works front of house at the palladium, our lighting team, our atmos team, our designers, danny, darius, mikey lin just because, and of course, to tim and andrew, who believed i could be eva. the truth is i never left you.

it’s giving waltz for eva and ché…..

had to go support this absolute superstar last night in @sunsetblvdmusical, where the most incredible theatre is being performed eight times a week. this company has got to be some of the most talented individuals in the business, led by the incomparable @nicolescherzinger and @realtomfrancis. jamie lloyd (@jamielloyd) has truly outdone himself. i am so honored to have even been in the same building as such a talented group of people. nicole is a tour de force and a true masterpiece to behold live. i cannot rave enough about her. get thee to the st. james.

and @_diegorodz_ — i couldn’t be more honored to witness your rise and to be a part of your next adventure. it’s amazing to be this proud of someone i barely know. this is gonna be fun. ❤️
