It’s unbelievable to think that a year ago, I was given the opportunity to take the next step into my future and career as a full-time musician. This past year has completely changed my life, and there aren’t enough words to express how much this program and everyone in it has impacted me.

I’m so blessed to have been surrounded by so many talented creatives that I can not only call my peers, but I can confidently say, lifelong friends.

Focusing all my energy on the time I’ve spent at LAAMP has not only taught me so much about music itself, but it has also allowed me to grow and learn more about myself as a person. Within the walls of the 16 studio pods at LAAMP, I’ve shared laughter, tears, stories, and countless memories all while doing what I love: making music.

I’m so thankful to every single producer, writer, and artist who has not only allowed me to be a part of their journey but has also so selflessly invested their time and passion into creating songs for my projects that I am so proud and excited to share with the world. I’m also so thankful to my group for creating such a safe space to write “Evergreen”. To this day, that has been the most difficult song I’ve had to write, but because of it, I’ve been able to get closer with my family; especially my father. Thank you to everyone who voted for this song to be song of the year. I love y’all!

I want to congratulate the rest of the 2024 graduating class for all the hours, sweat, and tears you’ve put into your music. I am excited to see you all flourish now that you are out in the world, ready to make your dreams come true. The 12-hour days, five days a week, have really paid off, and we shall reap what we’ve sown into our passion. I am so proud of everyone for taking this next step in your journey, and I’m looking forward to growing together as we continue to express ourselves through what we love.
