I did not expect RAGE to be part of motherhood. 🤬

I knew about the sleepless nights, the tantrums, the stepping on LEGOs—but the sudden, fiery anger that bubbles up out of nowhere? I wasn’t prepared for that.

Some days, I know what triggers it—stress, overstimulation, feeling like I can’t get anything done. 😩

Other days, I wake up with it, no explanation, which somehow makes me even angrier. And then comes the GUILT, because what do I REALLY have to be mad about? I have an incredible, supportive husband who listens, validates, and helps me find space when I need it and four beautiful healthy little humans who love each other (deep down).

The worst part about mom rage…I can see it happening, like an out-of-body experience, with my brain calmly saying, Take a breath, sis, while my body is like, Nope, we’re doing this.😤

But I know I’m not alone. Other moms have felt this too, and that reminder helps.

So today, I’m breathing. Reminding myself that laundry isn’t an emergency, and my kids need me, not my to-do list.

Because two things can be true at once: I am so lucky, and this is so hard.

So today, I’m choosing to slow down. To breathe. To remind myself that this season—both the joy and the chaos—is temporary. And if you’re feeling the weight of it too, just know: you’re not alone.
