Revisiting the ÁTTA Film Experiment.

The band invited ten filmmakers to create their own visual interpretation of a track from the album.

Fall, directed by Katya Gimro, focuses on the raw emotion of the audience, how the music shapes feeling and brings catharsis.

Celebrating Summer Solstice ☀️

On the longest day of 2016, Sigur Rós drove Iceland’s Ring Road, streaming the 1332km journey live 🇮🇸

The soundtrack to this “slow TV” adventure was created using generative music software, taking multi-track stems of ‘Óveður’ and endlessly reinventing them in real time.

The best moments from the 24-hour journey have been pared down to a quiet and reflective album of eight tracks.
