A very proud moment for me and my family. Yesterday I received an honorary doctorate in Law at Cambridge University. Through the Stormzy Scholarship we have fully funded 55 black students education at Cambridge and it is by far one of my proudest achievements. I pray #Merky continues to be a vehicle and a platform for my people and those who need it. Thank you to the University of Cambridge and also to HSBC for recognising the significance of this mission and for helping us turn the dream of accessible opportunity into a reality. Thank you Jesus. 🥹❤️

"Big Man" is finally out in the world and we have officially launched Merky Films. Really proud of the team and all the amazing people who made everything come to life. First and foremost to the one and only Aneil, feel really blessed to of worked with such a phenomenal visionary and having you at the wheel was the biggest blessing. Stuart, Tom and the rest of the team thank you so much. Thank you to Apple and the team there for all the love, support, time and effort they poured into this project we really do appreciate you. And last but not least my guys Jaydon and Klevis. So proud of my boys man, could shed a thug tear lol. You two were by far my favourite part of this whole experience, I don't think there was a time on set I didn't laugh and smile. You're gonna be superstars and I pray God takes you all the way to the top so you can give me back my £10!!! And mad love to my hero Idris too for showing up and pouring love into me that meant a lot. Glory be to YHWH ❤️

I’m so proud and excited to officially introduce #Merky Films - the latest addition to the #Merky family.

This is something we’ve been working on behind the scenes for a long time: a platform for bold, authentic and powerful British storytelling. A home for original and unexpected art. It’s a natural extension of everything we do at #Merky - telling our stories, shining a light on real voices and creating space for those who deserve to be seen and heard.

I’m proud to share our very first official production: Big Man, produced in partnership with Apple - out on June 18th. A short film directed by the legendary Aneil Karia.

I hope you love Big Man as much as we loved making it. It captures the joy, the spirit and the fearless energy of youth and I hope it inspires you to dream big.

Huge love to Aneil for leading wiith vision in the director’s chair and of course to the incredible Klevis and Jaydon - my two guys who were nothing short of brilliant. I’m excited to see what you both do next!
