𝘋𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬 𝘥𝘪 𝘩𝘢𝘪, 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪 𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘭 𝘱𝘦...
A soft knock — not on a door, but on the heart.❤️
It’s a memory that disturbs your loneliness,
gently compelling you to rise, to compose yourself,
and greet it with the quiet grace you’d offer a guest.

Though 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸 was released a few months ago, today — on 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗮𝘆 — felt like the right time to truly share it with you.
Because some songs wait for the right silence before they speak.

🎼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 Ashwin Srinivasan
flautist extraordinaire and one of 𝗔.𝗥. 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻’𝘀 nine musical gems. His bansuri doesn’t just play — it breathes. In Dastak, it becomes the memory itself — tender, lingering, and full of ache.

🖋️ 𝗟𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗯𝘆 Sunayana Kachroo
renowned poet and film lyricist, whose verses have been voiced by 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝘂 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗵𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻, and more. In Dastak, her words unfold like a soft soliloquy — intimate, reflective, and hauntingly true.

I had the opportunity to meet the amazing Amit Kumar ji and sensational Sudesh Bhosale ji in the fabulous 𝐋𝐚𝐱𝐦𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐲 , 𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐. Their artistry is awe inspiring and their grace ,humility and kindness is heart touching ! .

Sharing wonderful memories of @3iii.official 2019!

I was "Judges Choice" in the Seattle Indian Icon category and Semi-Finalist in the International Indian Icon category. It was absolutely amazing for me as a #singer to sing live and receive good feedback from the Grand Master judge himself-the legendary composer Shri Jatin Pandit ji (@jatinpanditofficial ) from the amazing #JatinLalit duo!🎶🎶

I also participated in a #Fashion Competiton for the first time in my life and was pleasantly surprised to be 3iii Fashion Icon runner up 2 !It was great to interact with the celebrity judges- the super singer and anchor Raahul Jatin( @raahuljatin ) ,the gorgeous ladies Monica Patankar (Miss Illinois) and Rachana Mishra(Mrs Bharat USA @rachana_mish) !

But most of all I was super thrilled to see my 9 year old son Ayush (@ayush_balwalli ) get on the stage for the first time and watch his confidence in the Fashion Icon Junior category !

When I saw my otherwise slightly shy kiddo go up on stage and say "What's up Chicago!" ,on the spur of the moment ,it just made my day!🥰 I felt so proud to see him receive the "3iii Trendsetter award!🎉❤️

This event was a journey of #personalgrowth and family bonding for me and will always cherish it forever ❤️.

Huge gratitude to my incredible teacher Vasu Sundarraj — her passion, vision, and tireless dedication to nurturing each of us made this magical opportunity possible. I’m so deeply grateful to her for believing in me and guiding us with heart and excellence ❤️🙏🏻

It was such a joy to sing alongside the immensely talented young students of Swaranjali — their energy was truly inspiring !🌟⚡️

A dream taking voice…
On Saturday, May 3, I will have the incredible honor of performing at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphony 🎻, as part of the Swaranjali Music School vocal ensemble 🎶.

We’ll be joining 70+ extraordinary musicians in a concert that brings together the richness of Indian classical vocals 🇮🇳 and the grandeur of a world-class symphony 🌍 — a true celebration of cultures in harmony ✨.

The Benaroya Hall stage has hosted so many of my favorite artists — I’ve sat in the audience, dreaming. And now, I get to stand on that same stage. It’s surreal. It’s an honor.
