It should say don’t fall FOR these scammers. Some of you may like the idea of me asking for something from you but let’s be real here, I would never do that. I would never ask for money. In fact, other than a bank loan, I have never borrowed money from anyone in my life. If I ask for a donation, it will be public and to a vetted legitimate charity that you can get a tax credit for. I barely use romantic words in real life so I would never use words like that to someone I don’t know personally. These scammers are ruthless. Other than this IG account and my Twitter account, I do not have any other accounts on any other platform. So do not follow those accounts and do not engage with anyone claiming to be me or representing me. Just be smart.

Race day! Here at Portland International Raceway. I lived in Portland for a year while attending the University of Oregon. So much has changed in the almost 30 years since I lived here. Never been to this track before so I am happy where I am at mid pack considering I did no prep for this weekend. I really like this track it’s fast but tricky in parts. Hopefully I have a good race today! @wearestudentdrivers @tabs2.5challenge @datsun510queen

Was at Coney Island over the weekend and rode the famous Cyclone. At almost 100 years old, it is one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the world. I’m getting too old for these things! Although it’s a pretty simple rollercoaster, I still got pretty beat up sitting in the back. My spine did not like it. I just have to endure a few more years before my daughter won’t want me to ride with her and I think I am ok with that. My dad was 45 when he had me so he was older than I am now when I used to force him to go on rides with me. I knew he didn’t like them but now I completely know why. Sorry Dad!

Turn your phone horizontal!
Here is what it was like driving the night stint at the 25 Hour Fun Cup at Spa. As you can see it was dark. Our headlights were not functioning properly and our auxiliary lights that included a small light bar and two side lights did not work at all. So it was very hard to hit my marks and as you can see I was definitely lifting up Eau Rouge. I literally had to rely on other car’s lights to see the apexes and the moments I was alone was truly frightening. I was slow but at least I didn’t crash!

Hankook 25 Hour Spa Fun Cup photo dump. Wow what an amazing race! First of all racing at the legendary @circuit_spa_francorchamps was a bucket list ✅ The track is extremely challenging then you add constantly changing extreme weather conditions, the complete darkness at night with 130 cars all at one time on track making it extra challenging. There were definitely some scary moments and we went through some ups and downs with spins, crashes and emergency repairs but despite it all, we made it to the checkered flag. My new friends and teammates were an awesome keeping it loose and reminding me that racing is about having fun. I am extremely grateful to them for giving me the last stint across the checkered flag. Thanks to my buddy @kerongli84 for bringing me on and coaching me through some tough moments. Our race support @gdlracing_ team kicked major ass with Italian flair managing 7 cars throughout the race. This was definitely a race to remember and I would love to do it again!

It’s race day! Feeling pretty good. Had a good last practice yesterday but I think I still can improve in race as this is the first time driving at @circuit_spa_francorchamps It’s quite a difficult track and with 130 cars out there managing traffic is going to be a challenge. The night stint should be interesting but the key is not to go 100% because the car needs to last the entire 25 hours on one set of tires so fuel, tire and mechanical management will be key. Let’s go! @wearestudentdrivers

Got back from a two week trip to Brazil. Huge country, too much to see in such a short time. Was in São Paulo, Rio, Balneário Camboriú, Foz de Iguacu and The Amazon. I was most excited to see The Amazon because I always wanted to see where our packages come from but instead of giant warehouses with people in blue vests stuffing boxes, we just saw lots of glorious Mother Nature. It was high water season so all the vegetation you are seeing in the water are the tops of tress with the forest floor some 40- 50 feet below the water level! Hiking through the dense jungle in the rain with the fam and our expert guides was fun. Not many animals this time of year but plenty of ants! And of course playing with the fresh water pink dolphins was definitely a highlight! For all the world traveling I have done, this was my first trip to South America. Can’t wait to explore more!
