We made our Opry debut on that stage.⁣
And last night, we came home to it.⁣
⁣
The Ryman — the Mother Church — wrapped us in her arms again, and it felt like everything came full circle.⁣
⁣
We stood where we first stood, with our new (and og!) family in the pews…⁣
sang If I Die Young and you stood with us — again.⁣
⁣
It was tender. It was loud. It was love.⁣
And it was the most perfect way to celebrate our return to the place that raised us.⁣

I instantly knew when I met you, you were wild and wonderful — full of spark and spirit and the kind of soul that makes a girl roll the windows down, throw her hands up in the wind, and ride with you EVERYWHERE in this life.

Watching you now with our son, I see that same wild - but it’s a softer and wiser season of adventure now. You build forts in the living room and teach his little hands how to create. You listen when he speaks and laugh when he’s silly — Whit is a beautiful mirror of you, our fearless protector.

To see him adore you, seek you out in every room, and fall asleep in your safe arms - well, that part of him reminds me of me. 🤗🤗 We love our Dada so very much.
