Feeling nostalgic today because the girl I once knew just made one of her greatest dreams come true.❤️

I was lucky enough to know @nadia_mejia back when she was Miss Beverly Hills Teen. As soon as I met her, I knew she was made for great things. We later chased some of those big dreams together as roomies in Miami. And then again watched our world’s collide as we shared the USA stage the year I passed my crown.

In recent years, I have been a fan from afar, but I’ll never stop rooting for my teen queen- who is now all grown up and living in the kind of success she has always deserved. Endlessly proud of you sweet friend. Miss you Nadia, @kathylynnmejia, @kristenjbradford & @julesnewmark.❤️

We can desire something, and still not be ready for it. Whether it’s the dream role, the dream job, the dream partner- we have to prepare our nervous system for the height of our dreams and desires. If you are calling in a lead role, but telling yourself you don’t have enough credits/experience/training to get there- you need to change your mindset about what you are ready for. You need to heal your nervous system while building your training muscles in acting class. We can have huge dreams and block our own success by sending out an energetic frequency that we aren’t worthy. YOU ARE WORTHY! You are doing the work to prepare yourself for the job of your dreams. Call it in- “I am ready for whatever you throw at me.”💫

That dream is on your heart for a reason. You wouldn’t be called towards it, if you didn’t deserve it. The Universe is trying to show you how good life can be- are you ready for it?!💃

If it feels like everything is hard right now, you aren’t alone. It is hard. In the grand scheme of life we know that love is larger than hate and the scales of progress will shift again, but we are in the muck right now, and it is a heavy burden to bear. Finding my way through the devastation in the daily news cycle by leaning into community, into therapy, into acting, into dancing with my daughter. Trusting that this too will pass. But knowing that I must be a part of that change. Take care of yourself and lean into any avenue you can to express what you are feeling. The joy will come back, it may even sneak up on us when we least expect it. Until that moment comes, keep taking care of yourself and keep sharing your gifts with the world.❤️

We are thrilled to share that our holiday comedy short, A Very Merry Rebrand, is an official selection of this year’s Circle Cinema Film Fest! 🎄❄️❤️🙌

The goal was always just to make something fun and beautiful with this incredible Tulsa-based cast and crew. The fact that it will play at the iconic @circlecinema is icing on the Christmas cookie 🥰✨
