WE DID IT 🎉🎉 Memories from 8 different countries. Each place had its own challenges. I remember that the first weeks were the hardest and loneliest. Walking in Bulgaria was physically very demanding.

1) My last day and arrival at Sülemaniye Mosque in Istanbul
2) My first day at Kahlenberg in Vienna
3) Walking through snow storm in Slovakia
4) My first camping nights in Hungary at 4 degrees Celsius
5) Walking through the Serbian Country side
6) I walked a few hours through Croatia
7) Snowy Mountain tops in Bulgaria
8) Cherry season in Bulgaria
9) Border Crossing to Greece
10) Last days in Turkiye

Memories last a lifetime, but the trash we leave behind can too.” To be honest with you, I was SHOCKED about how much pollution I encountered on my walk from Vienna to Istanbul.

This journey wasn’t just about miles, but moments of realization. Even though I saw so many breathtaking places on the way, I also saw that even the most secluded forests get treated like invisible trash cans. 🗑️

Our planet is a mosaic of ecosystems, all linked and in harmony with each other. By being mindful of our habits — reducing our waste and respecting the natural spaces we visit — we can help preserve this balance. 🌍

No matter where I walk, eat or sleep, I pledge to not just pass through places, but to leave them with only the echoes of my footsteps, not my waste. Let’s carry memories, not garbage. Let’s act for a greener future 🌿🍃

This week was packed with new experiences, meeting old friends and trying to get back to my “normal” life. I got so used to walk 8-10 hours every day that it feels so weird to have all this time for myself again. I want to thank everybody who welcomed me this week and showed their appreciation to this cause. This means a lot to me 💛

I am super excited to teach you everything I know about creating content and to share an unforgettable journey together.

This will also be my first time crossing the Pacific by ship, from the USA 🇺🇸 all the way to Australia 🇦🇺.

It’s been my dream and it’s finally coming true. To learn, grow and create with other creative minds feels like the most beautiful way to combine my love for teaching with my love for adventure 💛

Oduncu bana “Kocan çit yapımında yardım ediyor mu?” diye sordu. Kötü bir niyeti yoktu, ama bu soru bana komik geldi çünkü hiç bir kadının bir erkeğe “Karın çit yapımında sana yardım ediyor mu?” dediğini duydunuz mu? 😀

İnsanlar hâlâ bir kadının böyle şeyleri tek başına yapamayacağını ya da arkasında çekiç tutan bir adam olması gerektiğini varsayıyor. Gerçek mi? Bu çiti ben yaptım. Peki, bir erkeğin yardım etmesini istedim mi? Belki 😂

Bir hafta boyunca ter, gözyaşı ve “Ben neden bunu yapıyorum ki?” sorgulamalarıyla uğraştım ama sonunda çitimi yeniden yaptığım için çok gururluyum. Aylar geçti, hâlâ ayakta (yay!) ve üzerine sarılan çiçekler onu o kadar güzel gösteriyor ki 😍

Siz ne dersiniz - bu çiti yapmak için hayatıma bir erkeğin gelmesini mi beklemeliydim? Yoksa terli, bağımsız bir kadın tarafından yapılmış, çiçekli bir çit de güzel 🥰💛

I didn’t give up on my dream to visit all 81 cities of Turkey but I’d rather emerge in the whole experience. After years of traveling I found a home and it’s important to me to make it feel right and spend time here. I have some exciting plans for my next travels for the 81 project!
