Visited The Samsung Headquarters in Seoul and boy😫 we were warmly received by the global lead teams. Our discussions centered on strategic partnerships for youth empowerment, capacity building, and advancing the creative industry. We also had the incredible opportunity to tour the Samsung Innovation Museum , a true testament to the power of vision, technology, and innovation. Grateful for the hospitality and meaningful engagement.

This amazing meeting was made possible by the chairman of AEDC Mr Yoon Suk Hun and was led by the Special Assistant to the president in Digital and Creative Economy @feghox

South Korea’s $1.8 trillion economy was built on strategic investments in exports, technology, high Literacy, and visionary leadership birthing global brands like Samsung, Hyundai, Kia, and LG through innovation hubs established as far back as the 1960s.

This inspired the vision for me to come up wiht AfroCity Tech & Creative Park. A transformative project to empower Nigerian youth, boost our economy, and decongest the unemployment market through innovation and creativity.

Today, we visited two of Seoul’s 200+ innovation hubs to explore collaboration opportunities. We also held a high-level meeting with the South Korean Ministry of Education to discuss how we can integrate AI and emerging technologies into Nigeria’s education system to better prepare our students for the future of work.

This strategic engagement was made possible by the Asia Economic Development Committee (AEDC) and was led by the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy @feghox

Today, I had the privilege of visiting the Kia Headquarters in South Korea, where we were given an extensive tour of their state-of-the-art production facility. We witnessed the entire vehicle manufacturing process — from design and engineering to assembly and final inspection. The factory boasts an impressive annual production capacity of approximately 146,000 vehicles, a testament to Kia’s innovation, precision, and global manufacturing excellence.

Yesterday , we held a strategic meeting with Showbox, one of South Korea’s leading film distribution and production companies under the Orion Group. Our discussions focused on potential partnerships and collaborative opportunities aimed at expanding Nollywood’s global footprint. We also explored avenues for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Nigeria’s creative industry, with the goal of empowering talented Nigerian youth and strengthening cross-cultural exchange through film and media.
