More Palestinians are dying from starvation—most of them children. Amid this humanitarian catastrophe, Israel is advancing its ground invasion, asserting its goal to besiege the entire territory. Using starvation as a weapon of war is a violation of international law. While Israel has allowed some aid trucks into Gaza, the UN describes the flow as “a drop in the ocean of what is urgently needed.” Before October 2023, more than 500 aid trucks entered Gaza daily.
