In countries like Nepal, girls as young as 10 or 12 are sold, deceived, or kidnapped — and locked inside brothels.

Day after day, they are sexually exploited in silence. Out of sight. Forgotten.

No one hears them. No one sees them.

That’s why I founded Free a Girl.

Together with our team and local partners, we go undercover, work with the police, and liberate girls from this hell.

In 2024, I was in Nepal. We carried out multiple rescue operations, visited shelters, and spoke with survivors and students of our School for Justice.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll take you inside the world of Free a Girl: real stories, raw footage, and a closer look at our fight against child exploitation.

Last night was such a special moment as we premiered Love Without Boundaries in Amsterdam. ✨

Playing the lead character in this film has been an incredible journey, filled with so much passion and hard work. The character I play, Julia, is battling cancer and, because of it, understands the need to completely change her life. It was emotional and sometimes difficult to play, knowing how many people are affected by this terrible illness. 💔

It was a real team effort making this movie, with an amazing cast and crew who gave everything to bring this story to life. I feel so grateful and humbled to be working alongside such talented people, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we created together! 🙏🏼

Right now, as we speak, there are over 2 million children trapped in the nightmare of sexual exploitation. They are invisible to most, but they are not invisible to us. Their pain, their fears, and their hopes are real, and they are praying for a miracle.

This isn’t just a statistic. These are lives. These are children with dreams, with potential, and with the right to be free. As long as they are suffering, we all have a responsibility to stand up, to speak out, and to act. We cannot look away.

Together, we have the power to make a difference. One act of kindness, one moment of courage, can change the course of a life. We can be the miracle these children are waiting for. Their future is in our hands, and the time to act is now.

That’s why nights like these are so important. To give voice to the voiceless and tell their stories. Create more and more awareness so that we can all stand up and fight for them.

Let’s show them that the world still believes in justice, love, and freedom. Together, we can free them. Together, we can make miracles happen. 💫

Het afgelopen jaar heb ik veel pijn in mijn lichaam gehad. Ik moest herstellen van breuken in mijn nek, beide heupen en onderrug, en mijn longen waren gekneusd. Mijn lichaam heeft harder gevochten dan ooit tevoren. Mentaal was het ook niet altijd makkelijk, maar ik ben zo dankbaar voor dit sterke lichaam en leer elke dag om er liever voor te zijn. Het is een reis van zelfacceptatie en liefde, waarin ik besef hoe sterk ik ben geworden. 💪🏼✨

5 tips die mij heel erg hebben geholpen:

Liefdevol zijn voor jezelf:
Zelfkritiek is gemakkelijk, maar elke stap in je herstel is er één die je trots mag maken. Wees je eigen grootste supporter. 👏🏼

Eet voedzaam en goed voor je lichaam:
Het is zo belangrijk om je lichaam te voeden met gezonde, krachtige voeding. Veel vitaminen en proteïne. Mijn Cabau Protein shakes zijn mijn go-to’s voor spierherstel en energie.🍓🥥🍒

Geef je lichaam tijd om te rusten en wees geduldig:
Herstel is net zo belangrijk als de training zelf. Gun jezelf de ruimte om te genezen en sterker terug te komen. Al vond ik dat echt het aller, aller moeilijkste. 🫣🙏🏼

Beweging, maar in je eigen tempo:
Kleine stappen, zoals wandelen of een lichte yoga sessie, helpen om je spieren en geest soepel te houden. 🌸

Start de dag met een korte meditatie en een hydratatieboost: Komkommerwater met een schepje creatine of een verfrissende citroenboost is mijn favoriete manier om te starten. Creatine helpt je energielevel en spierherstel, en maakt een simpel glas water heerlijk verfrissend! 🌿🍋🥒

Samen lachen, knuffelen en genieten. Het is zo’n bijzondere tijd, want ik besef me heel goed dat er een dag zal komen dat ik heel vaak terug zal denken aan deze momenten: het gegiechel, de lieve gesprekjes, de kleine dingen die alles betekenen. En ik weet dat ik ze dan zo zal missen. Dus nu, op dit moment, geniet ik dubbel en dwars van alles. ♥️
