Guys I’m really proud of this one. It’s always a goal of mine as an artist to tell diverse stories and share new experiences. This movie delivers. I truly cannot wait for everyone to see it. And as always, thank you @therealmadisonyoung for allowing me to be a part of it.

Cleaning up the place for someone else to move in.

We bought this house in 2018. Since we’ve lived here: we got married, our kids were born, we’ve had three of our scripts produced (Kim has more on her own), went through a pandemic and been through the highest highs and the lowest lows… but we’ve done it all together.

It’s hard to say goodbye to a beautiful chapter of your life. So many good things happened here. But what matters is that we’re still together for the next exciting chapter ahead. You never know where life will take you. New adventures await, my friends.

AI will eventually destroy us all but in the meantime it can make us into coloring books to keep kids busy and I think that’s pretty neat

We haven’t left our kids since the baby was born. But when we finally decided to take some time for ourselves, @virginvoyages more than delivered. The ship is incredible. The food is even better. And there’s no nickel and dime-ing with dining, entertainment, tips and more always included. And since there’s no kids, we got to spend the entire time focused on each other. Celebrating my first Festa della Repubblica as an official Italian Citizen. Five years ago, we started a journey to seek out dual citizenship and learn more about my Italian family and heritage. Along the way; I visited my family in Italy for the first time, showed my kids their ancestors’ country and got to meet with the Italian Consul General in Los Angeles.

Very grateful to my lovely wife @kimdaugherty_ for spearheading this whole thing and getting us in touch with a side of my family I’d never explored. I love that we get to share this with our sons.

And thank you to @italyinla for including us in the celebration. Buona Festa della Repubblica a tutti!

Kim, you’re the strongest woman I know. Also the smartest. I’ve watched you handle things that would’ve broken me. There’s nobody I’d rather have by my side through this crazy life. As we possibly start another massive adventure for our family, I know we’re all in good hands as long as we’ve got you. I love you the most. Thanks for being the best mother to our children. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

Ugh just heard about James Foley passing. When I was in film school, my professor showed us Glengarry Glen Ross as an example of how to make a movie. It’s that good. It’s still one of my favorites.
After they’d hired me for Fifty Shades Freed, I took a video call with James that I’ll never forget. I got to work with one of my filmmaking idols. Despite my never ending questions about directing, he still let me shadow him on set between my scenes. And somehow we became friends along the way.
I’m gonna miss you, buddy. Rest in peace.
