My first thought was, “wow, they have this kid hopped up on some potent drugs!” 😝 But then I kept watching. I always say there are no human words that can adequately articulate the depth of the spiritual experiences so many of us have had. But the words this kid chose to describe his experience of seeing —“beautiful” and “pretty”— are great attempts! From his emotional reaction and the way he speaks, I’m guessing this kid may have been sincerely seeing a vision of Jesus and his late father. It’s possible that It could be emergence delirium, post anesthesia. But there are countless stories out there of people who had powerful, life-changing spiritual experiences with God while high on drugs. I’m one of them! If this kid’s experience happens to be real, what a gift! How he described what he saw reminds me of these scriptures:

Psalm 27
“One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to gaze upon His beauty and seek Him in His temple.”

Revelation 4;
And instantly I was in the spirit there in heaven and saw—oh, the glory of it!—a throne and someone sitting on it! Great bursts of light flashed forth from Him as from a glittering diamond or from a shining ruby, and a rainbow glowing like an emerald encircled his throne.

Shout out to all my people out there whose children gave them the will to keep living through the pain this life throws at us.. For me, the mere existence of my daughter @jenneawelch made me want to keep going when everything internally was screaming at me to quit. That kind of love hits different. It becomes an instrument in God’s hands that helps save you. Maybe you don’t have kids. I know many people whose love for their fur babies gave them the strength to keep fighting as well. 🐶 Do whatever you gotta do to keep going! ONE OF THE MOST PROFOUND MIRACLES IN MY PERSONAL LIFE THAT CONVINCED ME CHRIST IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE IN OUR MODERN WORLD IS THE ANGER AND RAGE THAT ONCE RULED MY EMOTIONS QUIETLY VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE. I WAS FILLED WITH A PEACE SO PROFOUND IT OFTEN FEELS EUPHORIC-LIKE BEING HIGH, BUT NOT IN ANY WAY THAT RESEMBLES A DRUG. IT’S MUCH DEEPER. WHEN YOU FEEL CHRISTS’ LIFE INVADE YOURS, IT’S AS IF HEAVEN IS BLENDING WITH EARTH INSIDE YOUR BEING WITH A EUPHORIC PEACE, AN OVERWHELMING INNOCENCE, A KINDNESS, GENTLENESS AND WARMTH BEYOND THIS WORLD; ALL OF THIS ALONG WITH A SUBDUED SPIRITUAL POWER THAT YOU KNOW HE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH, BUT SINCE HE IS HUMILITY ITSELF, HE ONLY RELEASES WHATEVER PORTION OF THIS POWER HE FEELS IS NECESSARY FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL AND EACH UNIQUE SITUATION. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS STRANGE TO SOME OF MY FRIENDS/FANS, BUT ALONG WITH MUSIC, THE SUPERNATURAL ASPECT OF GOD HAS BEEN MY HEALTHY OBSESSION FOR YEARS. I HATE LEGALISTIC RELIGION, I NEED SOMETHING REAL!
