Fluffy Fox Frames 🦊

At the beginning of July I visited @luca_lorenz_wildlife for a week. Together we met a beautiful red fox family and had three wonderful evenings with them 🥰.

Some photos from my days with @samuelhoucken 📸

Two weeks ago I visited my friend Samuel and we spent 3 days photographing together. We had a lot of wonderful encounters and I especially loved that we managed to photograph a curious young hare from up close. And my absolute favourite one was seeing a little owl family and observing the parents catching some big insects for the young ones.

The cutest neighbours 🥰
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
In my last YouTube Video I spent over 24 hours with a tawny owl. And the highlight was finding out that the owl shared its tree hole with a red squirrel 🐿️.

In slide two you can see a very specific shot I had in mind. I wanted to try to show the habitat of the owl first before zooming into its hole and the owl emerging in the end. It took a few days and many attempts but eventually I actually managed to get it and the timing worked out perfectly 🙈.

I am currently finishing the editing of my next YouTube Video that I will upload this weekend ❤️.

In May I spent a lot of time observing this family of rose ringed parakeets. They chose to nest in a tree hole which a great spotted woodpecker had made (and nested in) the year before. After 6 weeks in the nest the young ones started to look out of their home which was lovely to observe 🥰.

Spring is here 🌸🥰

It all went quite fast. After I spent one month in cold and very icy Finland now after one month back home there are already the first young ones of the greylag geese running around. Spring has fully arrived and here are some of my favourite encounters I had in the last weeks 🙈.

Winter in Finnland 🥶🇫🇮 ⁣⁣⁣ Part 2⁣

I just returned from 5 exciting weeks in Finnland. I was there to film wildlife for Oliver Goetzl‘s film project together with his crew @vavo.nature @jvdhfilm @simon_maurissen_wildographer and @felixadlerphoto (BTS).⁣
⁣
We spent more than a week waiting in a hide (literally 24/7) hoping that a wolverine shows up. Unfortunately that never happened but we did see a golden eagle and some beautiful sunsets.⁣
After that we split the crew to focus on different topics. I had then the chance to film two ermines for 11 days which was such a fun time and my personal highlight of the trip 🥰.⁣
