Meet my friend Kristi Smith — a true dog whisperer in every sense of the word.

Her superpower? Teaching you how to communicate more clearly and deeply with your dog.

Through @dogtrainerusllc, Kristi has trained thousands of dogs — for law enforcement, therapy, service, behavioral rehab, and even search-and-rescue missions that reunite families with missing loved ones both nationally and internationally.

Her latest venture, @mentoredservice, trains and places service and facility dogs with kids and adults who need them most — including those living with Tourette’s, Autism, and other developmental challenges.

I’ve seen Kristi work with my own dogs, and she’s extraordinary. The connection she builds with animals is a beautiful and profound thing to witness.

Whether your dog has behavioral challenges or you simply want a deeper bond, Kristi’s your person. You can board your dog with her for customized training — and when you reunite, she’ll teach you how to truly speak their language, transforming your relationship from the inside out.

One of the first things I got asked when I ventured back into the world after having my babies was..

“How did you get your body back?”

It broke my heart that after the incredible marathon that comes with carrying and creating life, people’s main concern for women is that they must now embark on another marathon that is “getting your body back.”

My priority pre, during, and post pregnancy was never to look a certain way, but rather to feel like my strongest, most energized, most powerful self so I could support my children in the way I always dreamed.

My health journey continues to be just that.

For me, it’s not about bouncing back to our pre-baby bodies but rather bouncing forward into our new bodies and selves.

And yes, our bodies change and yes, it’s absolutely incredible. 💪🏼✨

Yesterday, EWG and @healthybaby.co joined forces in Sacramento at the California State Capitol alongside @hilaryswank, Sen. @drakilahweber (D-Calif.) and @acog_d9 to rally support for a groundbreaking bill (S.B. 646) that would require prenatal vitamin manufacturers to test for heavy metals and publicly share the results with consumers.

Expecting parents deserve transparency safety and efficacy when it comes to the vitamins they trust for their health and their baby’s biological development, and this bill is a BIG step towards that.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to fight for stronger protections for moms and babies. This is just the beginning!

Many of you have asked for more whale photos so I went through and chose some of my favorites to share 💝

Did you know that whales have been shown to express compassion and empathy at a remarkably high level? Being in such close proximity to these beautiful beings, I felt that a hundred-fold. Their warmth absolutely radiates and despite their enormous size and strength, they serve as such a powerful reminder that all beings (human included) are so much more than what we see with our eyes and that we really are all connected in one way or another.
