A highlight reel if I ever saw one! I do believe an introduction is in order. I am Heidi Stephens, and I am thrilled to be your new Mrs. American. I live on a small island just off the coast of Seattle, with my husband Jeff and our 2 children. On our island homestead we have an abundance of produce growing in our gardens, and fruit ripening on our trees. I have a deep love for growing and cooking our own food. But baking pies is my true love language! My work to change avoidable health outcomes stems from the devastations I have seen firsthand as an Emergency Room Nurse. Before coming home full time, I spent a decade working with our nation’s Veterans in the ER, including throughout the pandemic. It was one of my greatest callings to serve those who have served our country. 🇺🇸

I am humbled to serve our nation in a new way now. As your new Mrs. American 2024. ❤️

The stakes are high, and the heels are higher, this June, when Episodes 1+2 of MRS. AMERICA premieres @Tribeca

For the past few years, a documentary team has been working on a series about the Mrs. America pageant. The team followed contestants in Colorado, New York, Arkansas, Pennsylvania and Florida as they competed for the 2023 crown.
