This is just an unedited account of the films I watched FOR THE FIRST TIME this year. We had a baby this year so I didn’t get to the cinema a lot so did some catch up on blind spots and things I never got around to seeing instead. I also rewatched a bunch (including Barbie TWICE, Hot Rod and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, The Apartment, Dune: Part One etc) AND watched a load of old classics with my daughter (and just some of her favourites - TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, Wonka etc) that are not accounted for here.

Extra Note: A few of these films were made by problematic people or contain some problematic shit in them but they held such overwhelming cinematic or artistic merit that I loved them in spite of myself. I don’t condone any of that shit.
