Holy moly I’ve been nominated for a BAFTA

I’ve tried to write a long caption but I’m too overwhelmed and excited and emotional to explain how much it means to me so please enjoy

Got to take a break for the first time in what felt like a really long time and had a magic month

Feeling very sad to leave but very grateful to have had such a beautiful trip

Also got to stay in two very amazing places sponsored by Tourism @Australia

@sequoiaaustralia where I found out I’m INCREDIBLE at Jenga and sat in an outside jacuzzi and had the best food in the most beautiful lodge in the mountains

@capellasydney which is in the middle of such a deeply cool city and felt like staying in a gorgeous art gallery

But most importantly I got to visit Australia’s most impressive cultural monument, the MAFS Apartment Building

🚨BREAKING: Benedict Cumberbatch, @dualipa @RizAhmed @NicolaCoughlan and more than 300 other public figures have signed Choose Love’s letter demanding @keirstarmer end the UK’s complicity in the horrors in Gaza.

Words won’t save the lives of children being torn apart by bombs. Words won’t put food into the hungry bellies of babies.

We need action. Not in a week. Not in a few days. Now.

The Prime Minister has called the situation “intolerable.” If it is intolerable, will you immediately suspend all arms sales and licenses to Israel?

Children have been starved by Israel for more than 70 days. They cry until they can’t cry anymore — until hunger takes even their voices.

And their parents are left to do the unthinkable: hold them, and wait.

The government must use all available means to make sure Israel allows access for legitimate humanitarian organisations to distribute food and medicine to people in Gaza - and do everything in its power to stop the killing.

We must act now.

I think it deeply important that people speak up in this moment

No child, no matter where they are from, their religion, anything should be starved to death by a government

This is a war crime, plain and simple

The US & UK governments who are aiding and abetting this need to be held to account. This is happening with our tax money and we have a moral obligation to tell them we will not let this happen.

100 aid trucks have been approved for entry into Gaza today — far short of the number needed, but a big jump after fewer than 10 trucks were permitted to enter Gaza on Monday. The slow trickle of aid was the first food allowed into Gaza since Israel imposed a total blockade 11 weeks ago.

A U.N. official called the limited supplies “a drop in the ocean” as the population of over 2 million is facing famine, and as Israeli forces continued to bombard Gaza overnight, killing at least 73 more Palestinians. Israel has vowed to take control over the entire enclave.
