The Royal Ballet on tour ✈️✨

This month, The Royal Ballet took to international stages from Genoa to Seoul, sharing a wide-ranging repertoire with audiences across two continents.

At the Nervi International Ballet Festival @festival_nervi, the Company celebrated Frederick Ashton’s choreography in the historic open-air setting of Genoa’s Parks of Nervi and the Theatre Carlo Felice.

Earlier in the month, The Royal Ballet also returned to South Korea for the first time in 20 years, performing in Seoul with a varied programme of classical and contemporary works.

Today on 5 O’ Clock Apron Podcast I’m cooking with principal ballerina @yasmine_naghdi from @royalballetandopera in London’s Covent Garden. I’ve never met, or indeed cooked with a ballerina before, so cooking with Yasmine for this episode was a complete delight. A brilliant cook & meticulously organised, it was fascinating experience for me to cook this dish with Yasmine for the podcast, and in it I learn a new way to cook one of my favourite dishes, the double soffritto is a game-changer. And yes please, an opera singer for the next series would be wonderful.

To cook Yasmine’s recipe, you will need;

1 packet of linguine pasta
1 kg fresh clams
6 cloves garlic
Big bunch of parsley
350ml dry white wine
Dried chilli flakes, to taste
Salt and pepper
Good olive oil, enough!
