❗Le taux de participation économique des femmes au #Maroc est l’un des plus faibles au monde – moins de 20 % - malgré la croissance économique du pays.
🎥 Avec l'actrice, réalisatrice et militante marocaine des droits humains, Samia Akariou, Mounir El Bari, PDG de GPC, une entreprise marocaine de fabrication de papier et de carton, et Ghita Hannane, responsable pays pour le Maroc à IFC, nous en parlons et cherchons des solutions ensemble.
Une discussion pour évoquer les moyens de briser les stéréotypes, et de brosser le portrait de personnages féminins forts dans le domaine audiovisuel pour faire évoluer les mentalités.

Despite #Morocco’s economic growth and significant increase in women’s education levels, did you know that today less than 1 in 5 women participate in the economy – one of the lowest levels in the world? 📉
To reverse this trend, the private sector has a critical role to play in partnership with the public sector and civil society.

As part of the #Morocco4Diversity platform by IFC and CGEM, the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises – a community of employers championing jobs for women convened – we spoke with the infamous Samia Akariou, a Moroccan actress, filmmaker and human right activist Mounir El Bari, CEO of Moroccan manufacturing company Gharb Papier et Carton (GPC), and Ghita Hannane, IFC’s Morocco Country Officer.
