When I booked this shoot I was in a whole lot of pain from going through a breakup and didn’t feel confident in myself at all. I felt really insecure in myself and I felt that I really hopeless in thinking that I was broken and couldn’t be valued. I was not in any state to be in front of the camera. I flew to Vietnam for this shoot by myself and stepped in there and realised that is exactly what I needed - to do the exact opposite of what I felt like doing at the time (basically hide in bed all day). Also the bahn mi was very healing.
