Curation and exhibition design for 'Mindcraft 17' at Salone de Mobile, Chiostri di SanSimpliciano, Milan, Italy, 2017

TheMindcraft17 exhibition was staged in the yard of an ancient monastery. There was a reverberation from the past, where the bells once divided the day into prayers and strict routines, like a prototypical clock introducing intervals, breaks and points in time, making it possible to control and organize man’s time throughout the day.

The Orchestra of the Soft Assistance
A collection that
harmonises the elegance of human empathy with the adaptive genius of the animal kingdom. This collection is
inspired by the profound theme of hands; the ultimate symbols of assistance, compassion, and adaptability In our journey of creating the collection, we explored how hands signify more than just physical help; they embody the essence of empathy, the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Just as hands adapt to different tasks, we too must adapt to the needs of those we assist and to the world changing around us.

Pink Flashbacks No.1 -THE TRANSPARENT TONGUE 2012 - for SS13 Collection, Lycée Turgot, Paris, France and Kunsthal Charlottenborg; Copenhagen, Denmark. Inspired by the fleshy muscular organ of the mouth, the SS13 collection featured a 20-meter length of fabric tongue covered in black taste buds, ready to lick what lay ahead. Activated by dancers emerging from various spots of the surface, a slow motion cleaning performance began, adding the last functional layer to this sensitive implement. Photo @TueJuelsbo

Med udgangspunkt i Verner Pantons ikoniske Panthella-lampe, har @henrikvibskov skabt en installation for Louis Poulsen, der kan ses i Kuglegården i København til og med mandag som en del af @3daysofdesign.

3days Of Design Copenhagen
The installation called Circle Dome Square for Louis Poulsen with a focus on Verner Pantons Work and his Panthella lamp made in 1971 - The Panthella lamp is one I grew up with in the 70s. We had the lamp at home so part of my childhood
The installation is inspired by Verner Panton and his iconic Panthella lamp. It refers to his universe of color and shape, something I very much relate to in my own work and admire in his. Next to that, the structures are inspired by the accordion, panopticons and old cameras.
I always try to include textile in some way in the installations - and in this installation play with it in relation to space. We are taking the classic shapes used by panton and extruding them with the use of textile, creating different new spatial experiences and shadows.

I hope it attracts people and that people will experience the different surprises that is in the details as you enter and walk around it. And I hope it survives the danish weather.

All Materials will be reused afterwards for others projects in August

And The P:I:G Award 2025 Goes to ………… @kellykonings.textiles
Thanks to the 300 peeps who came @kunstglstrand and headr Kelly tell a bit about her work and afterwards 2 concerts @efterklang @hannahsommer.music

Motivation for choosing Kelly Konings as the P-I-G Award winner 2025
Kelly Konings operates at the intersection of technology, art, and design. Harnessing the strengths of these three domains, she has developed contemporary wearable art, but even more notably, she has pioneered a technique with vast potential. Her work reimagines a traditionally wasteful production system, offering a more sustainable and thoughtful approach. The artistry lies in her creation of visually compelling and tactilely engaging objects that could easily be exhibited as standalone artworks. The intelligence is evident in her profound understanding of both artisanal craftsmanship and industrial processes. Her design brilliance is found in reconfiguring the production paradigm—crafting a new aesthetic while simultaneously presenting a method ready for large-scale manufacturing, thus challenging conventional notions of how we produce.
The P-I-G Foundation and Henrik Vibskov are proud to name Kelly Konings the recipient of the 2025 P-I-G Award and commend her for expanding the horizons of craftsmanship, industrial manufacturing, and artistic exploration in everyday items.
